Rubber Expansion Joint

Product Overview

Quality is our promise

Dewdon expansion joints are designed and built to the specifications outlined and used for many years by consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, pressure vessel designers, plant engineers, and turn-key construction companies. We can offer additional tests, if required, such as hydrostatic, cycle life, and burst to test. Dewdon Expansion Joints is constantly striving to improve the quality of our products and to improve the efficiency of our service without sacrificing our standards. Standard catalog items to more complicated aerospace product lines have seen these improvements in quality and product features.

Dewdon®, the leading name of rubber expansion joints, offers solutions for your pipe system regarding thermal elongation, misalignments, vibrations, and noise reduction.

Our Rubber expansion joint is a flexible connector fabricated of natural and/or synthetic elastomers and fabric, if necessary, internal metallic reinforcements designed to provide stress relief in piping systems due to thermal movements and mechanical vibration. These are installed to accommodate movement in pipe runs, prevent piping from expanding and contracting, and ensure efficient and economic on-stream operations.

Staying true to our core competencies, we are also able to provide customized solutions within rubber expansion joints. As always we welcome challenging tasks, we will deliver the most effective solution from both the operational and economic perspectives. Dewdon® Rubber Expansion Joints will:

– Absorb movement
– Improve thermal stability
– Relieve system strain due to thermal change, load stress, pumping surges, wear of settling
– Reduce mechanical noise
– Compensate for misalignment
– Eliminate electrolysis between dissimilar metals

All of our expansion joints carry safety ratings that exceed product specifications in areas such as pressure and movement.
